A dance-video duet by Rosalba Torres Guerrero & Lucas Racasse
"Our penumbra – our pénombre – is a tight place inhabited by a quivering woman, who is a link between the fantastical and ghosts. Born from darkness and from the earth, she will emerge from it to metamorphose. Part beast, part phantom, with an erotic and disquieting grace, she seeks in her rages and fits to clear a path for herself out of the shade into the light. From life to death. She is flesh, hair, spectre and porcelain, and borders on a mysterious in-between world: the pe-numbra in which body and video are drifting like two lovers to a uncertain future."
A collaboration of artists with strong individual styles : Shizuka will give the simple space to enrich the relaitonship between the image on screen and live dance on the stage as well as effective sensible lighting.
